New FD 4170 Bursts Onto the Scene with Upgraded Features

Formax Dover, NH April '10: The FD 4170 Cut-Sheet Burster is an ideal finishing solution for multiple forms printed on a single page. The FD 4170, which replaces the FD 4150, takes perforated forms directly from a laser printer and automatically bursts them at the perforation, then stacks them sequentially at speeds of up to 140 sheets per minute.

New features include an enhanced control panel with a 4-digit LCD counter, offering status updates and a running total of forms burst; 5-level speed adjustment from 42-140 sheets per minute; and pre-programmed cut settings for 11", 14" and 17" sheets. With its three-tire, top-loading feed system and capacity of up to 400 sheets, the FD 4170 can accommodate a wide variety of paper sizes and weights.
