Industrial Shredder Upgrades
Formax, Dover, NH September '06: Formax, a leader in paper processing equipment, announces an upgrade to its Cross-Cut Industrial Shredder models.
The new FD 8802CC cross-cut shredder offers increased capacity, speed, features and a new look compared to the discontinued original FD 8800CC. The FD 8802CC has a capacity of 75-90 sheets, speeds of up to 40 fpm, and an easy-to-use LED control panel, including a visual load indicator. The new digital load indicator assists operators in determining how close they are to the maximum shred capacity to avoid jams and provide optimal efficiency. New features include Auto Start/Stop, Auto Reverse, Auto Cleaning and a safety key lock system to ensure authorized use of the shredder.
The FD 8900CC cross-cut shredder now offers a smaller standard shred size of
5/16" x 1 1/2" - 3", and a capacity of up to 500 sheets at speeds of up to 35 fpm. As with the original model, the new FD 8900CC can be customized for various applications.
Each model is backed by a Formax 10-year limited warranty.
