Formax Introduces Next Generation Document Folders

Formax Dover, NH June '10: Formax introduces the next generation of document folders, the FD 342, FD 382, and FD 38X. From the manual-setting FD 342 to the fully-automatic FD 38X, these three folders provide dependable and easy-to-use solutions for nearly any folding job.

The Fully-Automatic FD 38X and Automatic FD 382 have exceptional speed, processing up to 20,100 pieces per hour. Features include a new 2.8” backlit LCD display and control panel, fully-automated fold plates, and 18 pre-programmed fold settings. The FD 382 stores up to 25 custom folds and the FD 38X stores up to 35 custom folds. In addition, the FD 38X offers many exclusive features including new AutoStack^TM stacker wheels for one-touch set-up and operation.

The FD 342 replaces the FD 340 and offers an increased processing speed of up to 15,500 sheets per hour. Six popular folds are clearly marked for quick and easy set-up and operation.

The patented Multi-Sheet Feeder now handles up to 4 stapled sheets and is standard on the FD 38X, optional on the FD 342 and FD 382. Each of the new folders has the ability to process sheets up to 12 ¼” W x 18” L, easy-to-remove feed wheels, and a patented Telescoping Conveyor System that holds up to 500 folded sheets.
