This low-volume burster series offers industrial quality at an economical price. Four low-volume industrial bursters are available to process bursting jobs at speeds of 0- 200 feet per minute. Standard features include slitters, safety interlocks, and a conveyor unit. A power drop-stacker can be added to enhance productivity.
The FD 546 is the standard model with friction feed and variable speed; the FD 548 adds a cabinet; the FD 550 (shown above) offers tractor feed and a cabinet; the FD 552 adds an imprinter to the FD 550. Each low-volume unit is capable of operating 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Many of the standard features offered in the higher end models are available as options to meet any need or application.
